Polaroid Emulsion Transfer Project
Shoot it, peel it, wet it, stick it, press it, peel it.
I’ve been working on an Emulsion Transfer project this past month using a bunch of photos I shot of the Vans BMX team. The good people at Daylab got me going with a Polaroid copier and the rest is history.
This process is tricky, but the texture really ads something to these shots that straight digi doesn’t get across.
Tracking down the Polaroid 669 film has been tricky after I ran out of the supply that Daylab kindly gave me from their private stock, and the Fuji 100C has been a recent substitute, somewhat more yellow, but nothing looks like the discontinued 669.
